Energy Efficiency: Cutting Costs in an Economic Recovery
    The IoD, 116 Pall Mall
    Wednesday, March 2nd
    Registration from 8 am

The IoD will be holding a breakfast seminar to discuss the energy efficiency in businesses.  What are the economic arguments for implementing an energy efficiency programme and do they hold true in practice?  Should energy efficiency – and cutting costs – be a priority as businesses recover from recession? What Government support is available to business and is it sufficient?

Chris Dodson, Chairman of IoD South, will be joined by Fraser Winterbottom, Chief Operating Officer of the Energy Savings Trust and Andy Wood, CEO of Adnams Brewery, who will share how he has implemented efficiency measures within his company and the returns he has seen.  Further speakers will be announced shortly.

The IoD is holding this event in partnership with energyrethinking, the online community which shares energy saving advice.  The IoD, Michelin, The Energy Savings Trust, Tomorrow’s Company and Shell are partners of energyrethinking.  For more visit www.energyrethinking.org/employers To attend the event please email Kathryn Allix at policyevents@iod.com or call 020 7451 3103.
