  • Technology Programmes (Energy Technologies Institute)

The ETI aims to increase energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make a major contribution to the achievement of UK energy and climate change goals.

We have consulted widely, and in so doing, identified the focus areas for our programmes. By working together, sharing resources, knowledge and expertise, our Technology Programmes will accelerate the creation of innovative and commercially viable products and processes.

The sooner we can bring new technologies to the market, the sooner we can increase energy efficiency and protect the energy supply for present and future generations.

    Climate Funds Update

The International Climate Fund (ICF) is a UK initiative.  It is an across-departmental fund established by the UK 2010 Comprehensive Spending Review. It follows on from the Environmental Transformation Fund – International window (ETF-IW) to provide climate change related aid over the period 2011-12 to 2014-15.  It is planned that the International Climate Fund will account for 7.5 per cent of UK Official Development Assistance (ODA) by the end of the Spending Review period (2014-15).

    WRAP Capital Grant Funding (WRAP)

WRAP occasionally has capital grants available. If there are no suitable grants available please refer to their main funding page for other support that you may be eligible for.

    Energy Crops Scheme (Natural England)

The rate of grant paid is 50% of all eligible costs incurred.

Housing Associations and Local Authorities (Energy Saving Trust)

The EST provides a range of resources to help local authorities and housing associations, along with their project partners, to promote and implement innovative approaches to reducing carbon emissions from domestic housing in their local areas.

    Clean Capital Network (Clean Capital)
Clean Capital is an independently owned, London based, yet internationally operating, strategic and corporate finance advisory firm, focused 100% on cleantech growth companies and their investors. Within cleantech we are particularly interested in new materials, products and engineering processes, which promote resource and energy efficiency. We have a broad cleantech focus however, which includes solar, wind, water, bio-chemistry, waste management and recycling too.
